Who is Beat It for?

People living with, or at risk of, diabetes or other chronic lifestyle conditions who want to increase their physical activity levels. Whether you have exercised before or need some help getting started, the Beat It program will tailor individual exercises to your specific needs within a friendly and supportive environment.

What is involved?

The 8-week program includes:

  • An initial one-on-one assessment with an exercise professional
  • Exercise program tailored to your abilities and fitness levels
  • 16 group exercise sessions (2 per week)
  • Education sessions on various healthy lifestyle topics
  • Tracking your progress
  • Final consultation.
